
Problem
Installation requests came in through unstructured emails and technical attachments. Each request require manual review, interpretation, and forwarding to the right technician, taking 45–60 minutes per request.
Solution
While on programme, Chris (Operations Coordinator) built an AI-assisted intake workflow that extracted technical requirements from emails and PDFs, standardised the information, classified the installation type, and generated a structured task template for technician assignment.
Impact
Processing time dropped from around 120 minutes to 15 minutes per request. Errors and back-and-forth were reduced, and the coordinator shifted from manual processing to supervising a more structured workflow.
